NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Arizona Cardinals by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

ARIZONA CARDINALS (27)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 29) - Nightmare is over.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 25) - GM, coach, quarterback. Who goes and who stays will be interesting.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 21)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 29) - They have some defense, but absolutely no offense.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 24) - A week after giving up 58 points on the road to the Seahawks, the Cardinals' defense actually shows up and pushes the Lions all over the field to break a nine-game losing streak.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 26) - Speaking of a lack of punch on the ground, the Cardinals have the worst rushing attack in the NFL, averaging only 80 yards per game and 3.5 yards per rush.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 27) - Auditions for quarterback and offensive tackle begin this Friday in Mesa.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 25) - A solid defense was finally rewarded for all that hard work.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 28) - They finally stopped the losing streak and they did it with Ryan Lindley under center.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 25) - Four straight W's followed by nine straight losses and the Cardinals win again in convincing fashion against the Lions. If you can call 197 total yards on offense convincing ...

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 26) - Arizona's opportunistic defense and running back Chris "Beanie" Wells (three touchdowns) came to the rescue to help prevent the Cardinals from becoming the first team to start the season 4-0 and finish 4-12.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 29) - If scoring points wasn't part of football, they wouldn't be all that bad.
