NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (29)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 27) - Can only hope to get a coach that accomplishes what Andy Reid did.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 29) - Few expected Andy Reid's last season to be so bad.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 30)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 27) - Sorry to see Andy go after 14 seasons, great run and a great man!

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 28) - The curtain comes down on the Andy Reid era, and now Jeff Lurie finds a coach for the first time since 1999. Does he go high profile with Chip Kelly or Jon Gruden? Or pluck another coach out of obscurity like he did with Reid, a former quarterbacks coach?

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 30) - Andy Reid was the winningest coach during the NFC in the 2000 decade. But a 4-12 collapse in 2012 cost him his job. He's an offensive coach and the Eagles turned the ball over an NFC-high 24 times.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 29) - Once upon a time, Leslie Frazier said Eagles' fans wouldn't appreciate Andy Reid until he's gone. Guess it's time to stage Andy Reid Appreciation Day.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 29) - The dream (team) is no more. Wake up, Philly fans, and smell the rebuilding plan.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 27) - At least the Eagles know its Nick Foles in 2013. There's no guarantee the replacement for Andy Reid is an improvement. Six months ago this was the universal pick to win the division. Today they might be the universal pick to come in last in the division next year.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 29) - Andy Reid should be applauded for all he gave to this organization and the city of Philadelphia as he moves on.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 30) - Although his firing was inevitable, it will initially be strange watching the Eagles in 2013 and not seeing Andy Reid on the sideline.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 28) - It's a pretty safe bet the Eagles' next coach will fail to match Andy Reid's record in Philly.
