PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert says the gap between his club and the four remaining playoff teams is significant and needs to be addressed. Colbert called Pittsburgh's uneven 8-8 season ``unacceptable'' and said there could be significant player turnover in the coming months. Colbert said the team will not ``box itself in'' when it comes to personnel moves and he doesn't see any position that ``isn't open.'' Colbert added former running back Chris Rainey lost the trust of the organization following his arrest on a misdemeanor battery charge last week and that's why he was cut. The general manager says the team makes character a major issue when drafting players and needs to take responsibility when things don't work out. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL
