OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden says he knows he's going to face competition to keep his starting job and he's eager to face it.

Weeden said Friday during an appearance at Oklahoma Christian University that ``unless you're Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees or these guys, you might as well expect for somebody to try to come take your job.'' New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has said he expects Cleveland to bring in someone to compete against Weeden, who threw more interceptions than touchdowns during his rookie season.

New coach Rob Chudzinski called it ``premature'' to name Weeden the starting quarterback for next season.

Weeden says he considers the competition fun because ``you get to compete and try to be a winner.''
