MOUND CITY, Ill. (AP) - An Illinois sheriff says Chicago Bears offensive lineman J'Marcus Webb is free on bond after being accused of possessing marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Sheriff Randy Kern tells KFVS-TV (http://bit.ly/WrxmUv) the 24-year-old Webb was arrested Sunday night in Pulaski County, in the far southern part of Illinois along the Ohio River. Kern says Webb faces charges of possession and drug paraphernalia, as well as speeding and not having a valid vehicle registration. He was freed on bond Monday.

Kern and the county prosecutor didn't return telephone messages by The Associated Press on Wednesday. A Bears spokesman says the franchise is aware of the matter and is seeking specifics about it. An NFL spokesman said the same thing.

Online court records don't show whether Webb has an attorney.
