Philadelphia showed plenty of heart and soul in overcoming massive 33-14 halftime deficit at San Jose. Matt D’Orazio, like his teammates, never gave up, overcoming slow start before raucous crowd and gutted out win. Even with the win, the Soul failed to cover, making them 0-6 ATS the last two seasons in April.

Philadelphia (7-0, 5-2 ATS) doesn’t figure to letdown, trying to keep pace with Dallas in Eastern Division and keeping a weary eye on New Orleans and Orlando, who are also in the harsh National Conference.

Columbus (2-5, 3-2-2 ATS) has alternated wins and losses the last five contests and hopes they are ready post another “W” after losing to New York. The Destroyers lack of consistency has been a head-scratcher, though the loss to the Dragons was the first time this season they have been blown out. Columbus should have a good shot with Philly 8-19 ATS versus Eastern Division opponents. Plus, the Destroyers are 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS against the Soul in last four games played.

Columbus can’t get in shootout with Philly, being last in points scored at 47.3, versus the Soul who are tops in point production at 64.6 PPG, in Arena Football action. The Destroyers are 10.5-point home underdogs, with total of 105 at Sportsbook.com. This contest will be televised on ESPN2 starting at 8 Eastern.

A solid potential play on the total is available. Here the idea is to Play Over on road teams like Philadelphia, after one or more consecutive straight up wins, has a winning percentage of 75 percent or higher,  playing a team with a losing record. This system is 17-5, 77.2 percent the last five seasons.
