ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (4-3)

at MICHIGAN WOLVERINES (8-0)

Tip-off: Saturday, 12:00 p.m. ET
Line: Michigan -15.5, Total: 145.5

No. 3 Michigan looks to keep its perfect season going when it hosts Arkansas on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolverines aren’t just unbeaten SU, they’re 5-0 SU and have covered in all four of their lined games at home. The Razorbacks are off to a slow start, snapping a three-game SU losing streak with a too-close home win over Oklahoma. The Hogs have failed to cover in three of their past four contests.

Can the Wolverines continue their early-season dominance? For the answer, connect to College Basketball Best Bets for all the Expert picks throughout the entire 2012-13 season. The StatFox experts are a collective 52% ATS (103-95-6) in college basketball Best Bets for the season, led by StatFox Gary, who is 9-3 ATS (75%) since Nov. 26 and 63% ATS (22-13) for the season. StatFox Brian is 9-3 ATS (75%) since Nov. 30 and sits at 53% ATS (25-22-2) for the season.

Michigan was already returning one of the nation’s elite backcourts in PG Trey Burke (17.0 PPG, 7.1 APG) and SG Tim Hardaway Jr. (15.6 PPG on 52% FG). But the Wolverines have gotten some serious reinforcements in one of the nation’s elite freshman classes. Nik Stauskas (13.9 PPG, 64% 3-pt FG) has been one of the nation’s best shooters, and Glenn Robinson III (11.6 PPG, 6.8 RPG) is making an immediate impact on both ends of the floor. Michigan is allowing just 57.6 PPG on 40% FG, and it is allowing opponents to take just 11.9 free throw attempts per game, third-lowest in the nation. The Wolverines already have a home win over NC State and neutral court wins over Kansas State and Pittsburgh.

Anderson continues to rotate in a lot of bodies in his up-tempo system. Unfortunately, it results in his two elite players getting limited minutes. SG B.J. Young (19.5 PPG) is averaging just 29.2 MPG, and PF Marshawn Powell (16.1 PPG, 5.6 RPG) is averaging just 23.3 MPG. The Razorbacks’ biggest issue has been a lack of shot-making, as they’ve hit just 29% of their threes on the year. But they did hit 53% FG in Tuesday’s 81-78 win over Oklahoma. The Razorbacks are forcing an impressive 18.3 TOPG (23rd-most in the country), but the Wolverines are again one of the best teams at taking care of the ball (9.9 TOPG (8th-fewest in the nation).
