Germany has never defeated Italy at a major international tournament, including a loss to the Italians in the Euro 2012 semi-finals, and the nation would like nothing more than to break that unlucky streak. Manager Joachim Low has had his squad looking sharp, and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and his defensive unit of Joshua Kimmich, Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels, and Jonas Hector have yet to concede a goal in the tournament. In midfield, Sami Khedira and Toni Kroos will provide stability with Julian Draxler, Mesut Ozil, and Thomas Muller further up the pitch.
