Nate Diaz owes much of his UFC fame to his victory over Conor McGregor at UFC Fight Night 196 earlier this year, and he will look to solidify his status as an elite fighter with another victory over his Irish opponent. With a 20-10-0 lifetime record, Diaz has been an inconsistent fighter, but a win over McGregor would make up for his spotty past in the octagon. McGregor had won fifteen consecutive fights before defeat against Diaz, including five straight Performance of the Night awards. Normally competing as a Featherweight, the outspoken McGregor will again fight in the Welterweight class as he did in his last fight against Diaz.
